Effective Date: May 1, 2026
This policy explains how to cancel, pause, or end an active SYNCivate AI engagement, and the terms that apply when a project is paused, abandoned, or closed. All notices must be submitted in writing — verbal or informal requests are not recognized.
Pause requests must be submitted in writing to SYNCivate support. SYNCivate confirms the pause in writing within 2 business days. Restart fees apply based on the length of the pause:
| Time Paused | Restart Fee | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Under 30 days | None | Good-faith hold — build held as-is |
| 30–60 days | $150 | Re-onboarding + re-testing required |
| 60–90 days | $250 | Platform reconnections + full re-setup |
| 90+ days | Project closed | New agreement required at current pricing |
Clients are notified in writing at day 60 that the project closes permanently at day 90. Restart fees are due in full before any work resumes. There are no exceptions to the 90-day closure rule.
If a project has not commenced (signed agreement, payment cleared, and kickoff completed) within 30 days of signing, the Statement of Work expires automatically. A new agreement at current pricing is required to re-engage, and setup fees paid under an expired agreement are forfeited. SYNCivate provides written notice of expiration at day 25.
